Aurum has raised £4.5m in equity and non-dilutive funding from a combination of institutional investors, specialist life sciences backers, and angel investors with direct clinical expertise in stroke.

Our investors include Wellcome Trust — one of the world's leading biomedical research funders — alongside InnoScot Health, Scottish Enterprise, Tricapital Angels, and Infinion Biopharma. A significant proportion of our private investors are practising clinicians with specialist experience in stroke medicine. Their decision to invest is itself a form of clinical validation.

Series A — £10m

Aurum is currently raising a £10m Series A to fund Phase 2 and Phase 2/3 stroke trials in India, secure ABL-101 manufacturing, and expand the company's international research and development collaborations. The raise is designed to take Aurum to Indian market authorisation by 2031 and to support global licensing discussions in parallel.
